Shepherd Electric Supply seeks a Fleet Manager to align shipping, receiving, inventory, and fleet operations at the Laurel DC. You will lead a high-volume distribution center and own outcomes across all four functions.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and develop leaders to ensure on-time deliveries. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for cross-functional coordination.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with KPI-driven performance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and fleet to meet customer commitments.
• Develop and coach a shipping team to ensure reliable operations across shifts.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements for the distribution center.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and branch teams to optimize outbound fulfillment and delivery.
• Maintain safety and equipment certification standards on all shifts.
