Job summary

Premier Truck Rental in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Fleet Licensing and Registration Specialist to keep PTR's growing fleet compliant and ready. You will manage titling, plating, and annual renewals across state and federal requirements, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high volumes of documentation while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–2 years in administration, fleet operations, licensing or related area.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal teams, customers, and agencies.
• Proactive and dependable, able to resolve issues as they arise.
• Familiarity with fleet documentation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage registration and plating for new fleet equipment through INDOR portal and ensure documents are delivered to correct locations.
• Prepare and submit title documentation for new equipment to BMV accurately and on time.
• Coordinate shipment of plates, key tags, decals, and materials for new units.
• Manage title releases for sold equipment and maintain plate inventory records.
• Maintain electronic records in Microsoft D365 for new equipment, titles, and registrations.
• Coordinate annual plate renewals and distribute updated cab cards to fleet managers.
• Respond to internal/external requests for registration documentation and provide timely support.
• Order and track replacement plates for lost or damaged plates.
• Stay updated on licensing/titling changes and inform impacted teams.
• Coordinate annual renewal of PTR dealer licenses and related registrations.
