Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Fleet Compliance Specialist to lead licensing and permit processing for MHCTL, and to manage fuel tax reporting and HVUT returns. This role is fully in-office five days a week in Leawood, KS, coordinating with branches and ensuring timely renewals and accuracy across tax and licensing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or relevant experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; AS400

Qualificações

• College degree or direct experience in truck licensing, permitting, fuel tax reporting, and/or billing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology is necessary.
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills; ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Positive, can-do attitude; thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple open requests.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and process vehicle licensing and permit applications and renewals for MHCTL.
• Process monthly and quarterly tax reports (IFTA) and HVUT returns.
• Audit and reconcile charges for taxes, licenses, and permits; generate invoices.
• Manage unit status changes and fuel tax data workflows; provide reports to the field.
• Prepare customer reports related to truck legalization as needed.
