Job summary

US Foods in Alaska seeks a seasoned Fleet & Facilities Manager to lead maintenance for fleet, facilities, refrigeration, and security. You will direct a team, manage budgets, and collaborate with QA, safety, and operations to keep temperature-controlled operations compliant and reliable.

This role requires strong CMMS skills, a Bachelor's in facility operations or related field, and certifications in ammonia/PSM.

Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems in cold chain.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP.
• Proficiency with CMMS and data analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Operations, Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Certifications in ammonia, CMMS, PSM/RMP within first year.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration, power equipment, and security.
• Oversee refrigeration systems and cold chain integrity.
• Manage facility operations, capital projects, and vendor contracts.
• Lead safety culture, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with QA, sanitation, HR, and operations for readiness.
