Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the repair and maintenance of the retail MHE fleet and refrigeration systems. You will drive safety compliance, labor relations, and capital projects across distribution centers. A strong background in NFPA standards, PSM, and CMMS is essential.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of management experience in refrigerated distribution, with the ability to supervise a diverse team and coordinate with union staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4 years management experience, preferably in refrigerated distribution.
• Strong knowledge of anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM/EPA compliance.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 20, NFPA 13, NFPA E-70.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficient CMMS usage and basic Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising a diverse, unionized workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair and maintenance of retail MHE fleet and coordinate with store personnel.
• Set and monitor maintenance targets and performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/USDA/FDA/NFPA etc.
• Train department personnel on safe operation and repairs.
• Oversee capital development and project management.
• Ensure safe operation of ammonia refrigeration and related systems.
