Job summary

Riverside Transport Group in Livonia, MI is seeking a Driver Supervisor to manage driver performance and serve as the primary liaison between drivers and the company. 2-year degree in related field.
3-year experience in transportation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Sole communications link to driver regarding load information, advances, purchase orders and maintenance coordination.
Manage assigned drivers and tractors to optimize performance; ensure data entry accuracy.
Maintain driver turnover within target range and monitor utilization (MPU per day).
Ensure on-time service and communicate customer expectations; reinforce safety metrics.
Escalate driver complaints to the appropriate department and coordinate with HR, Load Planners, Service, and Breakdown teams.
