Job summary

Maxim Crane Works LP in Louisville seeks a Dispatcher to ensure timely crane and equipment delivery to jobsites, guiding Operators, Drivers, and Support Personnel. You will evaluate needs, assign resources, and coordinate with the Branch Manager and other branches to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Responsibilities include ensuring permits and registrations are up to date, reviewing logs and tickets for payroll, and maintaining strong customer relationships while communicating with Sales

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in construction or fleet with transportation or heavy equipment experience.
• 3+ years' experience using CMMS (JD Edwards) in dispatcher or scheduling role.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch labor and equipment and supervise operators, drivers, and support personnel.
• Coordinate with the Branch Manager and other branches to optimize scheduling and resource use.
• Verify permits, registrations, and insurance; ensure DOT compliance and paperwork accuracy.
• Review daily logs, e-tickets, and time sheets for payroll and billing.
• Communicate with Sales and Operations for availability, lift plans, and job details.
• Maintain customer relationships and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
