Job summary

Maxim Crane Works is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure timely crane and equipment deliveries to job sites. You will guide and supervise Crane Operators, Drivers, and Support staff to meet schedules and service levels.

Responsibilities include allocating labor and equipment, coordinating with branches for efficient scheduling, and ensuring DOT compliance and proper documentation. Strong CMMS (JD Edwards) experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in construction, fleet, or heavy equipment with transportation experience.
• 3+ years' experience using CMMS (JD Edwards) in dispatcher/scheduling role.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and allocate labor and equipment; monitor daily assignments.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager and other branches for efficient scheduling.
• Ensure permits, registrations, and insurance are up to date for cranes and tractors.
• Maintain DOT compliance and review ELD and tickets for billing.
• Communicate lift plans and job details with Sales and Ops teams.
• Serve as liaison between customer and employees; manage orders and relationships.
