Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA) is seeking a Dispatcher to manage towing resources and ensure on-time vehicle pickups and deliveries, providing outstanding customer service to towing partners. The role supports branch productivity and growth within a dynamic, full-time yard operations team.

The dispatcher collaborates across the Transportation team, plans resource needs, and maintains strong relationships with tow drivers to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service experience, 1+ years direct dispatch

Responsibilities

• Direct activities related to towing operations and on-time performance goals
• Manage tow truck resources and assign work efficiently to maximize productivity
• Plan future day resource requirements and coordinate with towers
• Identify when demand exceeds capacity and refer to part-time networks
• Monitor transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Recruit new towers to expand towing networks
• Provide drivers with pickup and delivery documentation, including check/cash handling as needed
• Monitor work-in-progress and adjust to ensure timely performance
• Identify and escalate issues related to transportation activities to management
• Form a relationship with the IAA Transportation team
• Establish and maintain good relationships with tow drivers
• Review and analyze reports on transportation activity including Time Performance metrics
• Comply with safety guidelines and company policies
• Other duties as assigned
