Qualifications

• Experience scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries or collect shipments.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
• Ability to communicate with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
• Plan routes and adjust as needed.
• Prepare dispatch documents and freight bills.
• Maintain records of dispatched calls, driver routes, and delivery/pickup times.
• Review drivers' logs and monitor maintenance schedules.
