Job summary

Sysco Careers seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable fleet operations in Topeka, KS. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of tractors, trailers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include completing inspections, documenting work orders, and maintaining compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations. A valid CDL and ASE certifications are preferred but not required, with on-site shop work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• 609 HVAC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Perform Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
• Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs.
