Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of diesel tractors, trailers, and forklifts. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure accurate documentation.

Tools and safety procedures are emphasized in a fast-paced shop environment. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year of relevant experience or a related certificate, and ASE certifications with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience or related certificate/apprentice program.
• One or more ASE certifications and Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Run basic diagnostics and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Collaborate with other technicians on maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance work in writing and electronically.
