Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management, a large privately held fleet operator, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to repair and maintain tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Chesapeake, VA. Full-time shift 9:30AM–6:00PM, pay $25.00–$29.00/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, preventive maintenance, and documenting work in AssetWorks; learning diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while following safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years related experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess own tools.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
Document repairs and maintenance in AssetWorks system with parts and work performed.
Learn and assist diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes policies, use PPE and safety practices.
Assist with driving Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles as required.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
