Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain the tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling shop in San Jose.

Shift: Full-Time 11:00AM-7:30PM Monday-Friday. Pay: $46.00 - $51.00/Hr, depending upon experience/qualifications. This position requires DOT compliance and may require a current driver qualification file and potentially a CDL license in some locations.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment including tractors and trailers.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools where applicable.
• Perform complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Follow DOT, OSHA and Reyes safety policies and procedures; maintain driver qualification files when required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards; ensure safety practices.
