Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Fleet Support Engineer for the Vehicle Development team in San Francisco. You will ensure uptime, lead real-time support for fleet operations, and collaborate across engineering and operations to resolve complex vehicle issues.

The role emphasizes documenting troubleshooting processes, hardware bring-up for new sensors (LiDAR, radar, cameras), and developing robust diagnostic procedures to improve data integrity and fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles focusing on perception systems and sensors.
• Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and safe troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for real-time escalations across vehicle subsystems.
• Conduct root cause analysis through log review to resolve fleet issues.
• Develop and maintain a troubleshooting guide for technicians.
