Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Doraville, GA is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair heavy- and light-duty trucks, including diesel and CNG systems. The role requires engine and transmission diagnostics, welding may be involved, and involves maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of medium duty class 8 vehicles
• Ability to obtain 7 ASE Certifications or equivalent within 36 months
• Clear OSHA safety understanding for vehicle fleets
• CDL Class B preferred or ability to obtain CDL

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics related to a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles
• Maintenance and repair of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment
• Support coworkers in safe, efficient maintenance and repair
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner
• Follow all safety policies; maintain a clean, safe work area in line with OSHA standards
• Use vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Perform repairs using Factory Service Manuals
• Maintain high standards of ethics and dependability
