Job summary

Walmart in Sutherland, VA is seeking a Fleet Development Trainer to lead and deliver training for Driver Trainees and regional teams. You will develop, coach, and assess programs, ensuring One Best Way compliance and effective change initiatives across multiple centers.

You will collaborate with regional leaders to create engaging virtual and classroom experiences, monitor training utilization, and provide feedback to improve content and outcomes for drivers and operations.

Qualifications

• Current holder of an interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain within 120 calendar days of hire.
• 3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the last 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years; no serious violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and improve action plans; advise others on information and best practices.
• Lead and mentor Driver Trainees and Fleet Development teams; provide feedback.
• Facilitate training content across Regional Training Centers; ensure One Best Way compliance.
