Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fleet Technician I in Boise, Idaho to refurbish and repair mobile storage containers and modular offices. You will follow standard procedures, document inspections, and escalate complex issues as needed.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn within a safety-sensitive environment. The position emphasizes teamwork, precise work, and timely completion of tasks, with opportunities for growth and development within a leading equipment

Qualifications

• General mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or mechanical fields preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and refurbishment on mobile storage equipment per standard procedures.
• Carry out maintenance tasks such as filter replacement and cleaning.
• Follow work instructions and checklists for all repair activities.
• Escalate non-standard issues to technicians or management.
• Document equipment inspections accurately using mobile apps.
