Job summary

Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage the branch fleet, tools, and warehouse supplies. You will track maintenance, coordinate downtime with dispatch, and support field technicians daily.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety equipment, DVIR compliance, vehicle registrations, and issuing inventory to new fleet vehicles. Strong MS Office skills and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in fleet coordinating or management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in MS Office with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and solid decision‑making under pressure.
• Clean motor vehicle record with an active, valid driver's license; able to pass a background check and drug screen upon offer.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained standing, climbing ladders, bending and kneeling.
• Preferred: experience with fleet management systems and/or Samsara software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle spot checks to verify safety equipment and DVIR compliance; maintain clean vehicles with accurate utilization reporting.
• Coordinate vehicle breakdown and accident processes; maintain fleet documentation and registrations.
• Issue paperwork, wraps, GPS units, tools, and inventory to new fleet vehicles; manage tool checkouts and quarterly audits.

Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing is hiring a Fleet Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ. This role keeps our branch fleet, tools, and warehouse supplies running smoothly — tracking vehicle maintenance, coordinating downtime with dispatch, and supporting field technicians and branch leadership every day.

What You'll Do

• Track scheduled maintenance for all branch trucks and vans, coordinate service scheduling with dispatch, and report estimated vehicle downtime to the Operations Manager.
• Conduct vehicle spot checks to verify safety equipment is present and functioning, ensure weekly DVIR compliance, and keep vehicles clean with accurate utilization reporting.
• Coordinate the vehicle breakdown and accident process and maintain compliance for vehicle registrations and required fleet documentation.
• Issue paperwork, wraps, GPS units, tools, and initial inventory stock to new fleet vehicles; check tools in and out with field staff and conduct quarterly tool audits.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and solid decision‑making under pressure.

Pay & Growth: $24–$26/hour, depending on experience, plus hands‑on training and the chance to grow within Goettl's fleet and warehouse operations.
