This asset-stewardship role covers registrations, inspections, telematics, and preventive maintenance coordination, working behind the scenes with the Rental Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will oversee data integrity, drive maintenance scheduling, and coordinate repairs with service technicians to keep the fleet compliant and mission-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet compliance and asset management.
• Experience coordinating heavy equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of DOT and state inspections across multiple states.
• Ability to schedule preventive maintenance for a large distributed fleet.
• Good triage judgment for field repairs vs. pull-back.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping, audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet compliance, titles, registrations, and insurance docs across states.
• Own telematics installation, administration, and reporting for the fleet.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and maintain service history for all units.
• Triage field issues and decide on technician dispatch, third-party repair, or pull-back.
• Plan parts and consumables to stay ahead of PM needs.
• Coordinate with Rental Coordinator to keep customers informed with status updates.
