Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, TX seeks a DOT/Fleet Compliance Supervisor to oversee documentation, records, and FMCSA regulatory adherence. This role manages driver qualification files, DOT inspections, CSA data, and audits, ensuring legal compliance and safety excellence.

You will train supervisors and drivers, review training content, support audits, and act as a liaison with regulators and customers. Strong knowledge of 49 CFR, DOT safety regs, and data analysis are essential, as is leadership.

Qualifications

• DOT or FMCSA compliance experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized/technical training or some college
• FMSCA Certified Vehicle Inspector, FMSCA Certified Safety Investigator or Safety Auditor, NTC FMSCA Instructor Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and influences effective productivity and teamwork to deliver Legendary Customer Service
• Models and reinforces values-based leadership and processes to align with Vision, Values, and Mission
• Manages the DOT-Fleet Compliance function and ensures adherence to FMCSA regulations
• Maintains driver qualification files per DOT guidelines (license, medical cards, MVR, etc.)
• Ensures compliance with FMCSR and stays current with regulatory changes
• Reviews and tracks DOT inspections and maintains required documentation
• Maintains a vehicle accident register for compliance
• Performs audits of 3rd party carriers and drivers against policy
• Supports training for supervisors and drivers on compliance topics
• Facilitates vehicle inspection training and audits inspections
• Provides on-site inspections of Commercial Motor Vehicle equipment
• Reviews audit results and updates safety programs
• Serves as a resource in driver applicant review
• Supports driver safety performance via onboard monitoring systems
• Represents organization to external stakeholders during audits and legal matters
• Works safely and adheres to all policies
• Performs other duties as assigned
