Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Transportation Operations Leader to oversee logistics, route optimization, and fleet performance across its network in Phoenix and surrounding areas. You will lead a team, manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with Retail, Warehouse Operations and RDCs to support efficient product movement.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in transportation logistics, knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years Transportation Logistics experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of prior leadership experience, preferably in Logistics.
• Familiarity with OSHA Regulations regarding Commercial Truck Driver Safety.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsabilités

• Executes operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for controlling expenses.
• Coordinates with Transportation Managers and Leadership to define objectives and goals for efficient operations.
• Develops and implements strategic plans to drive daily operations.
• Facilitates annual budget process with Leadership.
• Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to vendors and customers.
• Ensures transportation areas including trucks are clean and reflect the Goodwill brand.
• Meets the transportation needs of retail stores, RDCs and ROC Departments.
• Collaborates with HR to achieve people management goals and development.
• Ensures department compliance with Security, Health and Safety policies; mitigates risk.
• Drives to locations as needed and may travel to retail locations for meetings/trainings.
