J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Road Maintenance Coordinator in Lowell, AR. Under supervision, you will answer breakdown calls and resolve equipment issues with drivers and vendors to keep assets on the road. Manage repair expenditures with approvals above $500.

You will coordinate with vendors, monitor repair status, and ensure safe, cost-effective resolutions to maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Preferred knowledge of automotive/maintenance terminology.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.
• Strong communication and information transmission skills.
• Accurate information processing and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer breakdown calls and route to vendors or facilities promptly.
• Provide follow-up to ensure timely problem resolution.
• Maintain driver/vendor contact and update operations on status.
• Locate nearest vendor to minimize wait time and cost.
• Resolve tire and equipment issues to maximize utilization and safety.
