Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles, including delivery trucks, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers with diesel and gasoline propulsion.

You must have automotive experience, tools, and readiness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts. Starting pay is $39.95 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) and health coverage after waiting periods.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently as required throughout duration of workday.
• Exercises hand grasping and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level to complete tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
