UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Alexandria, VA is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers, with diesel, gasoline, and alternative powertrains.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, performing safety checks, and meeting DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. driver’s license required.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts including various schedules.
• Must possess the required hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for job assignment.
• Operate, climb ladders, stand, walk, and perform movements as needed.
• Sit infrequently as required.
• Handle hand grasping and fine manipulation tasks.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions.
• Use power and pneumatic tools.
