Job summary

DRIG LLC seeks skilled technicians to join our network as independent contractors specializing in fleet automotive electronics installations across vehicles. You’ll install, troubleshoot, and repair GPS trackers, dash cameras, and other fleet telematics systems, traveling to customer locations as needed.

This is strictly 1099 contractor work—no W-2 employment. You control your schedule, accept assignments by availability, and are paid per completed job with mileage reimbursements and timely

Qualifications

  • Experience installing aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles (GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote starts, alarms, lighting).
  • Solid understanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
  • Ability to supply own tools and materials for professional installations.
  • Reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure aftermarket automotive electronics (GPS trackers, dash cameras, telematics devices).
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship from start to finish and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation for each completed job and ensure installations meet specs.

Job Description

We’re seekingskilled technicians to join our network as independentcontractors specializing in fleet automotive electronicsinstallations. This work includes installing, troubleshooting, andrepairing GPS trackers, dash cameras, and other fleettelematics systems in a variety of vehicles primarily cars,trucks, and semis.

This opportunity isstrictly 1099 independent contractor work - not a W-2 employmentposition. Contractors maintain control over their schedulesand accept assignments based on availability. We have workavailable in your area which involves traveling to customerlocations to complete professional mobile electronicsinstallations with quality workmanship and strong customer service.

Compensation iscompetitive and paid per completed job. We’re seekingreliable, detail-oriented technicians with experience inlow-voltage vehicle installations who operate as independentcontractors.

Scope of Work:

Performinstallation and configuration of aftermarket automotiveelectronics, including GPS trackers, dash cameras, remotestart systems, and other fleet telematics devices.

Deliverhigh-quality workmanship from start to finish to supportcustomer satisfaction.

Maintainaccurate documentation for each completed job and ensureinstallations meet project specifications and fleet systemrequirements.

Communicateprofessionally with customers at job sites.

Utilize DRIG’s systems to access job details, uploadrequired documentation, and manage accepted jobs.

Followapplicable safety and compliance standards to reducereturn visits and ensure proper installation quality.

As partof DRIG’s quality assurance process, contractorsare required to coordinate with DRIG’s QualityControl team at the start of each job to reviewproject scope, specifications, and qualityexpectations.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experienceinstalling aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles,including GPS trackers, dash cameras, car audio systems,remote starts, alarms, and vehicle lighting.
  • Solidunderstanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
  • Ability tosupply your own tools and materials necessary tocomplete professional installations.
  • Reliable vehicleto travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Strongcommunication and customer service skills.
  • Smartphone ortablet to access job details, submit documentation, verifyinstallations, and communicate as needed.
  • MECPcertification is a plus, but not required.
  • Contractors must be ableto pass a background anddrug screening.
