Job summary

DRIG in Washington, United States is seeking skilled technicians to join our network as independent contractors specializing in fleet automotive electronics installations.

This 1099 position offers flexible scheduling, competitive per-install pay, mileage reimbursement, and travel to customer sites to install and service GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote start systems, alarms, and related telematics devices.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles.
• Solid understanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
• Ability to supply your own tools and materials.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• MECP certification is a plus, but not required.
• Contractors must be able to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure aftermarket automotive electronics including GPS trackers and dash cameras.
• Troubleshoot and repair fleet telematics devices.
• Maintain documentation for each completed job and ensure installations meet specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers at job sites.
• Coordinate with DRIG’s QC team at job start to review scope and quality expectations.
