Job summary

Budget Truck, part of Avis Budget Group, is hiring for an on-site maintenance technician role in McKees Rocks, PA. You will perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on box trucks and cargo vans, including oil changes and tire rotations, while supporting vehicle safety and rental readiness.

We value a valid driver's license, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a busy shop. On-the-job training and potential ASE certification support are offered, with full-time or part-time

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class A, B, or C).
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of automotive technical school program is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on a fleet of box trucks and cargo vans.
• Include oil and fluid services, tire repairs and rotations.
• Assist more experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics as skills develop.
• May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs.
• Contribute to vehicle safety, availability, and a smooth rental experience.
