Avis Budget Group is hiring for a preventive maintenance technician in Foster City, CA. You will perform maintenance on a fleet of box trucks and cargo vans, doing oil changes, tire rotations, and light repairs while keeping safety and quality in focus.

This on-site role offers hands-on training, potential ASE certification support, paid time off, health insurance, and a path toward skilled automotive technician work within a growing rental fleet.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• DOT medical clearance must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on a fleet of box trucks and cargo vans.
• Assist more experienced technicians as skills develop.
• Drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs when required.
