Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Auto Maintenance Technician to perform high-skill vehicle maintenance for our fleets. The role is on-site with no remote option and requires ASE certification, a valid license, and ability to work varied shifts.

You’ll maintain records, collaborate with vendors, and support safety and efficiency in the shop. The position offers an hourly base pay of 26.73–40.10 with potential additional compensation.

Qualifications

• A master technician provides a high skill level for accurate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Must maintain ASE status and stay current with technology and fleet changes.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; vision and mobility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance: oil changes, filter changes, transmission flush, inspections.
• Work on medium/heavy trucks including booms, hydraulics, electrical repairs and fabrication.
• Repair diesel engines and transmissions; perform repairs like OBD II, brakes, tires, suspension.
• Maintain vehicle history and upfit new vehicles; coordinate with vendors for parts.
• Ensure safety, proper disposal of fluids, and maintain tidy shop area; assist roadside as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
