Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Assistant in West Palm Beach, FL. You will help manage repairs, track fleet inventory, and document vehicle status while collaborating with the Fleet Manager and dealerships to maintain efficient operations.

The role offers an hourly wage of 18.50 USD and opportunities for growth, with a schedule supporting day/evening shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year admin experience in office environment preferred
• Experience in automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer navigation

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fleet inventory checks and ensure accurate vehicle tracking
• Assist Fleet Manager with scheduling maintenance/repairs and dealer coordination
• Prepare new vehicles for rental including documentation, spare keys and inventory tagging
• Assist with vehicle disposal preparations including condition reports and equipment checks
• Support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations/renewals

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will perform daily fleet inventory checks, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking and management
• You will assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops
• You will prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in our inventory system
• You will assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness
• You will support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education & ExperienceYou have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry experience preferred
• Computer SkillsYou possess basic computer navigation skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Organizational SkillsYou are highly organized, capable of managing fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders, and documentation, ensuring efficient and smooth fleet operations across all tasks
• Licenses & AuthorizationYou are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Work Hours & TravelYou can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (5-10%), some of which may be by airplane
• Uniform & LanguageYou are willing to wear a company uniform and speaking other languages is a plus
