Job summary

SCG Fields, LLC, a premier sports field builder, is seeking a Fleet & Asset Manager to lead its fleet, heavy equipment, trailers, tools, and portable assets across nationwide projects. You will develop and manage a best-in-class fleet program to maximize utilization, minimize downtime, and support growth with proactive, data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in heavy equipment or fleet operations, strong maintenance program experience, and a proven ability to build scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing heavy equipment, fleet operations, or rental operations.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs and safety standards.
• Proven ability to optimize asset utilization and reduce downtime.
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency; ability to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fleet of construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, tools, and portable assets.
• Coordinate equipment transport, transfers, and logistics across projects.
• Schedule equipment to maximize utilization and meet project timelines.
• Maintain inventory records, asset assignments, and maintenance histories.
• Track utilization metrics, engine hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Develop asset tracking procedures and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, and company requirements.
