Job description

Support Operational Excellence Through Data-Driven Print Management

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Fleet Analyst to support the implementation and performance of our Managed Services program. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining print monitoring tools, analyzing fleet performance data, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting for both internal teams and external clients. Your work will directly support cost optimization, service efficiency, and supply chain continuity across complex print environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for technology, analytics, and process improvement.

Position Summary

The Fleet Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of remote monitoring software (Data Collection Agents, or DCAs) that track print device activity across client environments. These tools are essential for automating toner replenishment, forecasting service needs, supporting billing accuracy, and improving overall device uptime.

This role is both technical and collaborative, working closely with IT teams, customer contacts, and internal departments to keep systems running smoothly and data flowing reliably. You'll ensure data accuracy, system performance, and customer readiness while collaborating with internal teams to support billing, reporting, and security compliance.

This is a hybrid technical and client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, digging into data, and helping others make informed decisions about their print environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install & Configure Monitoring Software: Lead the setup and integration of fleet monitoring tools (e.g., FMAudit, MPS Monitor, PrintAnista, and any manufacturers tools) on client networks, ensuring successful data capture and connectivity.
  • Monitor Fleet Health & Performance: Track real-time data on device status, service alerts, and consumable supply levels (e.g., toner, ink, waste containers, maintenance kits).
  • Reporting & Billing Support: Provide accurate usage reports and consumable data to support monthly billing audits. Resolve discrepancies with billing teams and customers.
  • Customer Training & Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for customer onboarding, DCA software implementation, training, and ongoing support. Provide training on the E-Info Portal, enabling customers to submit service requests, place supply orders, track automated toner shipments, and effectively manage their device fleet.
  • Data Accuracy & Maintenance: Maintain a central database of DCA-enabled devices, activation status, contact information, and related records (All located in ERP System).
  • HP Security & Firmware Updates: Conduct security audits and manage firmware patching via WebJetAdmin, HP Security or MPS Monitor, based on client preferences and service level agreements.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and maintain SOPs and identify opportunities to streamline monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaborative Execution: Partner with internal teams (Sales, IT, Service, Billing) and external technology vendors to resolve system or data-related issues.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay up to date with the latest DCA and fleet management technologies. Provide recommendations to leadership based on industry trends and product updates.
  • Change Management: Support the rollout of new features or tools and ensure consistent adoption across teams and customer environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience with fleet monitoring or DCA tools (e.g., FMAudit, PrintAnista, MPS Monitor, PrintFleet) is a plus; training will be provided.
  • Comfortable working in both independent and cross-functional team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; relevant coursework or certifications in IT, business, or customer support a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support, IT, customer service, or analyst role.
  • Experience working in Managed Services, technology support, or fleet management environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with HP WebJetAdmin or similar device management platforms is a plus.
  • Leadership or project coordination experience is beneficial but not required.
