Communication-Data-Link is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet & Maintenance Coordinator in Grimes, IA. This role provides administrative support to the VP of Maintenance and coordinates vehicles, trailers, and equipment maintenance documentation, keeping records accurate and up to date.

It is primarily a coordination/administrative role, not a mechanic position. The candidate will work with mechanics, field supervisors, vendors, and office staff to ensure fleet safety, compliance, organization, and

Qualifications

• Highly organized and dependable in coordinating multiple priorities.
• Able to follow up with employees and vendors.
• Experience in fleet maintenance documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate fleet and equipment maintenance records.
• Enter and update service dates, mileage, engine hours, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance information.
• Maintain electronic and/or physical maintenance files.
• Assist with opening, tracking, and closing maintenance work orders.
• Collect and organize repair invoices, service records, inspection documents, and related paperwork.
• Ensure completed maintenance and repair documentation is properly recorded.
• Assist with preparing reports on maintenance costs, repair history, and fleet activity as requested.
