Job summary

LST Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Flatbed Pricing Analyst to develop, analyze, and manage pricing strategies for flatbed transportation services. This role drives competitive rates, healthy margins, and strong carrier/customer relationships through data-driven pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, familiarity with the flatbed freight market, and the ability to translate data into actionable pricing actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in freight pricing, logistics analytics, or transportation, preferably with flatbed experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience building pricing models for spot and contract freight.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with pricing/analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flatbed freight rates, market trends, and lane data to develop pricing.
• Build and maintain pricing models for spot and contract freight.
• Quote rates for customers and carriers with sales/ops teams.
• Monitor fuel costs, capacity trends, and seasonal demand to adjust pricing.
• Evaluate shipment data to identify pricing opportunities and margins.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on pricing performance and benchmarks.
• Support RFP/RFQ processes with pricing analysis and bid strategies.
• Coordinate with carrier procurement to align pricing with capacity.
• Stay current on flatbed industry trends, regulations, and competitor pricing.
