Legacy Logistics Incorporated is seeking a reliable Flatbed Operations Coordinator/Dispatcher to serve as the main communication and coordination point for 30+ OTR, regional and local flatbed/heavy-haul loads. Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as dispatcher or in a related role.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant dispatch methods.
• Fast typing with experience in data entry.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Active listener with excellent communication skills.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and communicate with drivers to arrange freight deliveries and pickups.
• Inform customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling.
• Plan predefined routes and adapt to changes as needed.
• Maintain records of dispatched calls, routes, and delivery/pickup times.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and laws.
• Review driver logs, dispatched calls, and arrival times.
• Monitor truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Log customer shipping schedules and complaints.
• Daily calls with drivers.
• Maintain logs of truck and trailer numbers and coordinate with Terminal Manager on issues.

Education

High school diploma

Bachelor's or associate degree in transportation or logistics

Dispatcher experience
