Job summary

Thuma is seeking a Store Manager for our Georgetown flagship to lead a new team and deliver an exceptional guest experience for retail customers and trade clients. You will oversee operations, merchandising, training, and KPI achievement, while building strong relationships within the design community.

You will drive in-store sales, manage budgets, plan promotions, and ensure health and safety standards. This role requires leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for high-end retail

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail, Interior Design, and/or Trade experience; luxury brand experience preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in Retail Leadership; Cafe experience a plus.
• Extensive experience delivering high level customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of flagship store and cafe, delivering high-touch experience for retail customers and trade clients.
• Spearhead the trade program; build relationships in Georgetown design community.
• Ensure visual merchandising and interior design reflect current products and brand aesthetic.
• Recruit, hire, and train a high performing team with clear performance expectations.
• Lead the team to hit in-store KPIs and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
• Deliver exceptional guest experience and manage trade inquiries including timelines and bulk orders.
• Share insights from retail and trade to inform product, marketing and merchandising strategy.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor sales and expenses, plan store promotions and events.
