Job summary

Thuma is seeking a Guest Experience Lead in San Francisco to drive a hospitality-driven guest experience while leading the sales floor and supporting daily store operations. You will coach associates, build meaningful guest connections, and help the team achieve store goals.

Ideal candidates have 2-4+ years in premium retail leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and experience with retail tech platforms.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of retail sales leadership in premium environments.
• Proven ability to drive sales results and guest experiences.
• Strong coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills; lead by example.
• Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using retail platforms such as Shopify, Netsuite, Gladly or similar.
• Experience as a keyholder, sales lead, or floor leader; luxury/home design retail background.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a premium, hospitality-driven guest experience by building relationships and resolving concerns with professionalism.
• Drive sales through active selling, product knowledge, client engagement, and store goals.
• Provide real-time coaching on the sales floor and onboard new team members.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture aligned with Thuma’s values.
• Support operational excellence: opening/closing, inventory, merchandising, and showroom upkeep.
• Ensure adherence to policies and brand standards in partnership with store leadership.
