Job summary

FAO Schwarz in New York City seeks a Sales & Experience Manager to own the guest-facing experience on the flagship floor, coaching associates, developing leaders, and driving commercial performance in a high-profile environment.

You will lead a cross-functional team, ensure floor readiness, orchestrate experiences and events, and partner with brand and store leadership to deliver a consistently magical guest journey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in retail, hospitality, or a premium experiential environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing people leaders.
• Excellent guest service mindset and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold standards for guest experience on the floor with energetic, on-brand interactions.
• Coach Leads to elevate team performance and guest connections.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and talent development for store teams.
• Ensure floor readiness, scheduling, and stock readiness before opening.
• Drive floor sales targets and KPIs through coaching and data-driven insights.
• Partner with brand and store leadership to execute experiences and events.
