FAO Schwarz seeks a Store Operations Manager to lead the behind-the-scenes engine of our flagship store in New York, ensuring the guest experience remains exceptional by aligning people, systems, and environments with business goals.

You will drive operational strategy across Back of House, Front of House Operations, and Visual Merchandising, holding managers accountable for execution and continuously improving store performance while maintaining brand standards and legal requirements.

Qualificações

• Significant senior management experience in retail, hospitality, or a complex operational environment.
• Proven experience in leading managers and delivering results across multiple functions.
• Experience owning senior external relationships with vendors, service partners, or building management.
• Ownership mentality with initiative, and the ability to escalate issues when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Set the operational strategy for the flagship, translating business priorities into a clear plan for the management team to own and execute.
• Lead the store's operational improvement agenda across technology, infrastructure, and safety with accountability for delivery.
• Build a high-performing management team, coaching leaders to develop their people and strengthen bench depth.
• Own hiring at the manager level and ensure succession planning across functions to sustain leadership readiness.
• Oversee the store budget, labor strategy, facilities, and loss prevention to protect and grow the business.
