Job summary

AGNC Investment Corp. is looking for a technically driven Analyst for their Valuations & Business Intelligence Reporting team. The role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days in the office in Bethesda, MD. You'll apply financial models, manage data pipelines, and support analytics.

No prior finance experience needed! We seek a curious junior software engineer with a solid Python background who wants to grow within a sophisticated financial environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant software engineering or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency including data engineering patterns.
• Genuine interest in learning fixed income markets.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor daily fair-value pricing.
• Maintain valuation methodologies for mortgage-backed securities.
• Build and maintain Python-based data pipelines.
