Job summary

BRG Transaction and Valuation Opinions seeks an Associate to support valuation engagements for hedge funds, private equity, and corporations. You will analyze financial data, build robust valuation models, and leverage Capital IQ and Bloomberg to benchmark investments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• One to two years’ valuation experience preferred.
• Progress toward ASA or CFA designation will be looked upon favorably.
• Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and projected financial information.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Aggregate and organize large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
• Leverage Capital IQ and Bloomberg for data access and benchmarking.
• Research competitive advantages and industry dynamics for client engagements.
• Communicate project status and results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate in a team environment and contribute to practice development.
