Job summary

Shain Associates seeking a Systems Engineer with Fixed Income experience to support trading and post-trade systems. You will troubleshoot IT issues, assist with installations, and escalate complex problems to development teams.

The role requires strong Windows/SQL skills, FIX Messaging, and scripting to automate workflows. You will work closely with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced capital markets environment, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction, including

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server administration.
• Proven experience with FIX Messaging in trading and post-trade workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and networking basics.
• Proficient in scripting to automate workflows (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with deployment tools (Octopus Deploy or similar) and containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of capital markets, fixed income products, and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot IT issues and guide customers to resolution.
• Assist with software installation and problem resolution for clients.
• Escalate complex issues to development teams and track outcomes.
