Job summary

Albert Bow is seeking a Systems Operations/Production Engineering professional to monitor and improve production trading infrastructure. You will support FIX sessions, FTP setup, and encryption while aiding new trading functionality.

You will troubleshoot incidents, analyze production data, and collaborate with Research, Accounting, and Compliance to optimize workflows using automation and AI tools in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Systems Operations / Production Engineering, ideally within financial services.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Understanding of market data, order-entry systems, and electronic markets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trading systems and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Support new trading functionality, including FIX sessions, FTP setup, file encryption, and new asset classes/prime brokers.
• Investigate root causes and implement preventative solutions.
• Provide technical and analytical support to Research, Accounting, and Compliance.
• Optimize operational workflows through automation and AI-based tools.
• Work with production data for troubleshooting and ad-hoc analysis.
