Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is looking for an Agile Consultant based in Charlotte, NC, to facilitate planning in a Scaled Agile model. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in the Capital Markets sector, specifically with trading applications, swaps, and equities. This contract role is expected to last 12-18 months and requires a proactive approach to team management and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working for Capital Markets and Hedgefund clients.
• Expert in Capital Markets front/back office trading applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scaled planning for the team in a Scaled Agile model.
• Ensure a healthy product and Sprint backlog with the Product Owner.
• Manage dependencies and remove impediments for the team.
• Promote communication and collaboration within the Agile team.
• Provide visibility into delivery plans and progress to stakeholders.
• Measure team performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Transition from waterfall to Agile

Responsibilities

• In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre-Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs.
• Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the Product Owner).
• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team.
• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments.
• Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders.
• Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
