Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead Agile teams at a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. The contract spans 12+ months, offering a servant-leader approach, coaching teams to embrace Agile values and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise setting.

You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach on best practices, and monitor progress with dashboards while partnering with Product Owners and technology leaders to manage dependencies and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, project management, or Agile environments.
• Experience supporting software development teams using Agile methodologies in large, complex enterprise organizations.
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Release Management, and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• At least one of the following certifications: CSM, PSM I-III, SSM, or A-CSM

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement).
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Support teams in delivering commitments within sprint and release objectives.
• Monitor team performance and delivery metrics using Agile dashboards.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, issues, and impediments.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Tech Leaders.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Track Agile metrics like Velocity, Burndown, Lead Time, and Cycle Time.
• Document and manage delivery risks and blockers.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams embrace Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
• Ensure effective adherence to Scrum principles, Agile values, and team working agreements
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement
• Support teams in delivering commitments within sprint and release objectives
• Monitor team performance, sprint progress, and delivery metrics using Agile reporting and dashboards
• Ensure risks, dependencies, issues, and impediments are identified, tracked, and resolved
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Partners, Architects, and Technology Leaders
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams
• Track and analyze Agile metrics such as Velocity, Sprint Burndown, Lead Time, and Cycle Time
• Identify, document, and manage delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and technical blockers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, project management, or Agile environments
• Experience supporting software development teams using Agile methodologies in large, complex enterprise organizations
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously
• Strong understanding of Scrum Framework, Agile Principles, Kanban Practices, and Lean Methodologies
• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, Release Management, and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Exceptional verbal/written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• At least one of the following certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, II, or III), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)

Desired skills

• Familiarity with Agile at scale frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or Scrum@Scale
• SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
• SAFe Agilist (SA)
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38 per hour
