Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• SIE/Series 7/Series 63 exams required, or successful completion within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills, including writing and speaking.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bloomberg, and other departmental software.
• Ability to learn new software and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support fixed income sales staff and customers to ensure smooth settlement of investment transactions.
• Provide phone backup, execute trades through the internal trading desk, support account services, and coordinate security settlement.
• Perform detail-oriented support for sales staff, traders, and customers.
• Manage daily issues involving trade activity, market conditions, and customer care.
• Develop relationships with trading and operations to support execution and delivery of securities.
• Identify and implement protocols for successful trade execution.
• Streamline processes supporting the sales force.
• Provide fast, professional, and accurate information to sales and trading teams.
• Research and resolve problems and take corrective action.
• Develop and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Back up sales staff when unavailable.
