Northland Securities, Inc. in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Fixed Income Trading Desk Support to lead the full lifecycle of new issue deals and support secondary market trading on the Fixed Income Trading Desk.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in fixed income desk operations, FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, 63), and strong proficiency with Bloomberg, iPreo, and EMMA, delivering accurate, timely trade settlement and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of new issue workflows and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle of new issue deal support including eligibility, closing coordination, funds movement, and settlement.
• Back-up closing call facilitator and lead closing calls when needed.
• Manage multiple simultaneous new issue workflows with accuracy, targeting 800-900 transactions annually.
• Maintain books and records in compliance with FINRA, MSRB, SEC, and firm policies.
• Cross-train junior staff on workflows, processes, and compliance fundamentals.
