Job summary

Jefferies Financial Group Inc. seeks a Middle Office/Trading Assistant/Business Analyst to support the Fixed Income Execution Desk. You will manage the complete trade lifecycle from booking to settlement, ensuring regulatory compliance such as TRACE/MSRB reporting and best execution.

You will assist in communicating market color and opportunities to the team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Excel/Office skills, and 2–4 years in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize workflow.
• 2-4 years of related in financial services experience.
• Experience with Pershing Netx360, Bloomberg.
• Series 7, 63 and 66.
• Spanish and or Portuguese helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisor teams from pre to post transaction
• Confirming and matching all fixed income transactions versus street counterparties
• Regulatory checks at start and end of each trading day
• Monitory of TRACE and MSRB web sights
• Business analysis
• Facilitating client fixed income orders
