Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC is seeking a Fixed Asset Manager to oversee daily asset records in our hospitality and gaming environment. You will manage capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will lead a team, drive process improvements, and coordinate with finance and operations to ensure asset classification aligns with policy and GAAP. This role requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in supervision, hospitality or gaming preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and fixed asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with asset capitalization, reconciliation, and audit support.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Workday or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers per GAAP.
• Supervise preparation, review, and approval of journal entries and schedules for fixed assets.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end fixed asset closes, including depreciation runs.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and reconcile to general ledger.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and finance for asset classification and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.
